Una Janićijević (she/her)
Pronounced: “oo-na  ya-nee-chee-ya-vich”

I’m an artist, art director and designer with 15+ years of experience designing and developing multi-disciplinary projects in publishing, media, arts and education. I’ve collaborated with teams internationally and led creative teams in a range of disciplines—from digital story-telling to exhibition design and magazine art direction. I am experienced in navigating remote work across-time zones and languages. I bring a focus on inclusivity and accessibility to each project.

My art practice centres around hand-cut collage, and explores the layered relationship between the land and generations of its human inhabitants. My pieces have been exhibited in solo and group shows locally and are held in private collections in Canada and Europe.

I live in Toronto, in the vibrant Esplanade neighbourhood, with my partner, two daughters and rescue dog. We reside on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. As a first-generation settler, I am thankful for opportunity to live, work and care for this land.

Currently, I'm open to new opportunities. If you've got a project to discuss or an art inquiry, I'd love to hear from you.
